Atlanta is hosting several large events over Labor Day weekend including Dragon Con, Atlanta Black Pride, the Aflac Kickoff Game and more!

Taking MARTA is the safest, easiest way to get around and avoid holiday traffic.

Rail Service 

MARTA will provide additional rail service for the Dragon Con Parade in Downtown Atlanta and the Aflac Kickoff Game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Saturday, August 31, 2024.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 31, 2024

All rail lines operate on special Saturday schedules, with service beginning at approximately 5 a.m., and trains operating on 12-minute frequencies until 3 p.m. (6-minute frequencies on the North/South line between Airport and Lindbergh Center & on the East/West line between Ashby and King Memorial).

How to Ride the Train

Parking

Free daily parking is available at 23 MARTA rail stations. Keep in mind that end-of-line stations fill up quickly, and some stations have reduced parking availability due to the Parking Lot Repaving Program. Visit the  MARTA's Parking Availability & Fees website for detailed information.  

Safety

Be mindful of Dragon Con costumes when boarding trains. Please do not block the train doors from closing.
