MARTA POLICE IS HIRING!

Benefits include: Up to $5000 sign-on bonuses for Police applicants, $5000 Annual College Tuition Reimbursement, and coverage of your monthly Georgia Peace Officer Annuity Fund payment!  

Starting pay for Protective Specialists: $20 per hour

Starting pay for Reserve Officers: $30 per hour  

Starting pay for Police Officers is $45,531.20. Upon completion of the Police Academy, Officers’ pay will increase according to level of education:

High School Diploma: $47,340.80
Associates Degree: $49,233.60
Bachelor’s Degree: $51,188.80

Police Officers will receive annual pay increases and have the ability to top out at $67,371.20.

Upon completion of the Police Academy, all new officers will receive a $3000 bonus upon completion of training and 3-year employment agreement.
POST Certified Police Officers who transfer to MPD will receive a $5000 bonus upon completion of training and 3-year employment agreement.
