Rail On-Time Performance

Definition: Measures how closely service runs to schedule. Departures from origin and arrivals to destination are considered on time if made no longer than 5 minutes after the scheduled times.

Performance (March 2019):

In March, met the Target; the actual being 97.98%. 162 delays were related to malfunctioning rail cars, 145 delays were passenger related (medical emergencies/door obstructions/police interventions), 39 delays were due to Automated Train Control (ATC) issues and 31 delays were related to track work.
