Rail On-Time Performance

Definition: Measures how closely service runs to schedule. Departures from origin and arrivals to destination are considered on time if made no longer than 5 minutes after the scheduled times.

Performance (December 2018):

In December, met the Target; the actual being 96.52%. 262 delays were rail car failure related, 147 delays were passenger related (medical emergencies/door obstructions/police interventions), 60 delays were related to Automated Train Control (ATC) issues and 50 delays were due to track work.
