While Riding on the MARTA system, the MARTA Police Department would like for you to help us prevent crime, such as snatch thefts, involving the following items:
- Luggage
- Personal Computers
- PDA’s
- Cell Phones
Please keep these and all personal items with in your immediate control at all times.
MARTA POLICE OFFICERS in uniform and plain cloths routinely patrol MARTA buses, trains, stations, and parking lots.
YOU can help us help you by keeping control of all personal property while riding the MARTA system.
TO CONTACT MARTA POLICE, Verizon, AT&T (formerly Cingular) or Sprint Nextel phone cell phone subscribers should dial #MPD and Blackberry users dial #673 for direct police assistance. All other cellular network subscribers or pay phone users should call MARTA Police at (404) 848-4911.
