K-9 Unit
The MARTA Police Canine Unit consists of 12 Explosive Teams and one Narcotics Team. Both units undergo extensive and continuing training on detection of explosives and illegal narcotics. The Explosive Canine Unit exists to deter and detect explosive devices on the MARTA system.
