There are currently more than 200 companies enrolled in the Partnership Program, including corporations, hospitals, hotels, government agencies and not-for-profit organizations. Some of our customers are: Coca-Cola, Emory University and Hospital, BellSouth, Georgia Pacific and the Environmental Protection Agency.
There are many benefits to both employers and employees including:
- Business expense deduction per employee, per month for employers.
- Cost savings on building/maintaining parking lots and increased parking spaces for visitors/customers.
- Increased morale and staff productivity due to hassle-free, reliable commuting.
- Unlimited rides on MARTA buses and trains, even on weekends.
The MARTA Partnership contributes toward the improvement of our environment through reduction of car usage, air pollution, traffic congestion and land wasted for parking. Your company will be recognized as a "Good Corporate Citizen" for taking part in this initiative.
It's easy to begin the Partnership Program and involves a minimum of paperwork. MARTA requires three pieces of information in order to set up the account:
1. current financial statement
2. certificate of insurance for general liability
3. signed contract
MARTA must also have a completed "New Account Transmittal Form" with a contact name and address for delivery of MARTA Breeze passes. MARTA performs credit checks on all new accounts. The results of the analysis plus the three documents listed above determine which payment method will be accepted.
MARTA will be on-hand to support your Partnership Program and make it a success. We can provide marketing materials, such as posters and brochures, as well as MARTA information, such as maps, bus schedules, pocket guides, etc. MARTA personnel will also be happy to come to your location to set up a "MARTA Day" to provide information and answer specific questions. Let us know what we can do and we'll be happy to help!
An employee's commute to and from work plays a major role in their work productivity, quality of life and their stress level. Employers can be instrumental in improving all of these by offering commute option programs to employees to ease their commute challenges.
Transportation Management Associations (TMAs), work with private and public sectors to develop efficient and creative solutions to the unique transportation challenges facing the Atlanta metropolitan area. With options such as MARTA Breeze pass discount, carpool and vanpool subsidies and Guaranteed Ride Home, employers can increase productivity, moral and company loyalty, while gaining a tax deduction.
